Part I

This first part of a two-part article discusses the concept of the Warrior in history and legend. It is intended to draw an important contrast between what historically has been known as the Warrior type and today’s diluted concept of the warrior. Most men today would be left in the dust of even the warrior’s shield bearer or, at best, be the warrior’s boy-bitch. Men today just don’t toe the mark when it comes to being anything close to warrior material. Be that as it may be, it is generally agreed that the vast majority of men do not leave the anal-genital typology of the animal-man. In Homoerotic Tantra:Mascul-IN-Touch℠ we make some important distinctions in how we approach the problem of healing contemporary masculinity and how a man can qualify as a Warrior. That subject of the Tāntric Warrior is taken up in Part II of this two-part series.
