Start-up of Homoerotic Tantra:Mascul-IN-Touch Program in Albany, NY

Plans are being finalized for offering the Homoerotic Tantra:Mascul-IN-Touch program in Albany, New York.



The organizers of the HET:MIT program are considering offering the HET:MIT start-up program at gay venues in Albany, New York. Future venues will be in Montréal, Québec, and other locales.




Homoerotic Tantra is a physical, emotional, spiritual practice for gay and bisexual men whose goal is to become aware of and to awaken the divine masculine spirit. Homoerotic Tantra and the Mascul-IN-Touch program is based on the more than four thousand year old traditions of the Sanatana Dharma of India and the practices of yogic Tantra.

Through a process of physical, emotional/mental, and spiritual sadhana (practice) participants will develop skills aimed at awakening self-awareness and self-knowledge, practiced as a lifestyle and positive change in personal, professional and social interactions.

The program can be highly group oriented or deeply individual and personal, but the preparation and waypoints will be the same.



Basically, however, the program will consist of one or more of modules such as:

  • Attaining an awareness of the Divine Masculine Spirit and defining homophobia in ourselves

  • Acknowledging and accepting our physical, emotional/mental, and spiritual self and identifying the false self; Recognizing the divine in the other

  • Basic yogic principles applied in yogic homoerotic Tantra: the yamas and niyamas, basic yogic asana-s, meditation, the homoeroticTantric sadhana exercises

  • The Eros of homoeroticTantra: the senses in the attainment of ecstasy and bliss

  • The masculine and the feminine principles or the divine complementarity: The path to Divine Union, Tantric Maithuna

  • Solo-cultivation, dual-cultivation and group chakra puja (random cultivation)

  • Personal and group conversations about your journey (individual and group peer support).


The Homoerotic Tantra:Mascul-IN-Touch program is very different from the commercialized Tantra that has become focused on sexual gratification and the Western commercialized yoga studios. While based on yogic Tantra, HET:MIT teaches and practices yogic ethics and personal discipline, while liberating the gay and bisexual man from the chains of male stereotype and taboos, allowing the masculine and feminine principles, Shiva and Shakti, to complement each other naturally.
